Shortly before 04:00 hours this morning, Dauphin County toned out Company 54(Londonderry), Engine 88-1, Rescue 88, and other mutual aid units to Geyers Church Road at Foxianna Road for a structure fire. At the response of Chief 54-1(Nissley), County advised the caller was a passer-by reporting a mobile home fully engulfed. Engine 54 quickly confirmed the working fire and arrived to begin an interior attack. Rescue 88(Chief Scheetz) with eight and Engine 88-1(Capt. Whitebread, Jr) with five arrived shortly after Company 54 units and assisted with an exterior attack as the structure sustained a partial roof collapse. Company 88 crews assisted Company 54 crews with extinguishment and extensive overhaul until released by Command 54 shortly after 06:00 hours. All companies worked great together in the single digit temps and falling snow.
