As crews were starting to clean up from the ladder training, company 88 was dispatched to the Village of Pineford for a bus fire. Chief 88-1 (Whitebread) and Engine 88 (Lt. Bragunier) with a crew of 6 responded seconds after dispatched. Chief 1 and the Engine arrived to find a privately owned school bus with the brakes on fire. Crews stretched the bumper line and quickly extinguished the fire. Crews then checked inside the bus for any extension. With no extension the crews worked on cooling the brakes down. Crews were out for a ½ Hour.
