This morning at 2:57 am, Company 88 was dispatched to assist the Police Department with an extrication. Chief 88(Scheetz) responded and was advised by county that to the rear of the Cottonwood Bldg, a female had fallen from a 3rd floor balcony onto a below grade patio. EMS needed the fire department to assist them with the patient and to setup a landing zone for Life Lion. Chief 88 sent Truck 88( Capt. Whitebread) to the Giant parking lot to establish a landing zone as Engine 88-1(Lt. Eppinger) was sent to assist EMS with patient care. Crews then assisted EMS with transporting the patient to the landing zone. Crews were out for about 30 mins.
