TRUCK AND ENGINE ON WORKING FIRE IN LOWER SWATARA

This morning, Just before 7:00 am. County dispatched Truck 88 and Engine 88 to Lower Swatara Twp. for a structure fire. Engine 88(Capt Coble) and Truck 88(Capt Fink) responded within minutes with a crew of 10 men. Engine 88 arrived and the crew took a line inside to get a knock on the fire. Upon Truck 88 arriving and the crew began to ladder the house while venting the structure. The engine crew was met by a heavy fire in the kitchen and in the loft area of the house. Crews also performed a search and found nobody else in the house. with the fire knocked down, crews stood by and waited for the fire marshal. Command held the box to Company 59 to assist the fire marshal. The 88 crew was out for about 2 1/2 Hrs.
