88 HOUSE ON ANOTHER E-TOWN JOB

This afternoon, county dispatched Rescue 88 to assist station 7-4 on a structure fire. Shortly after dispatched Rescue 88 (Capt. Whitebread) went enroute. While responding, Engine 88-1 was also dispatched to assist on the fire. While enroute Command 7-4 ordered all crews to evacuate the structure. Upon Rescue 88 arriving, the crew split up with half setting up RIT and the other half taking the rest of the windows and setting up PPV. Upon Engine 88-1 arriving the engine crew assisted with manpower for the RIT team, while crews worked on extinguishment. Crews then began to advance back into the building to get control. Upon Command 7-4 marking control, Engine 88-1 was placed inservice, while Rescue 88 remained onscene until the crews were done inside. The 88 crew was out for about 2 Hrs.
