ENGINE 88 GOES TO MILLERSBURG

Tonight a crew loaded up on the engine and headed to Millersburg for a parade to celebrate their 200th anniversary. Crews enjoyed the festivities and also had some fun in the parade with Co. 35 (Linglestown). We didn’t win anything but the residence of Millersburg and the 88 crew had fun!




RESCUE 88 GOES TO E-TOWN YET AGAIN

This afternoon around 5:00 Rescue 88 was dispatched to E-town to assist Station 7-4 on a structure fire. Rescue 88 (Capt Fink) responded with a crew of 6 within minutes. Upon Rescue 88 arriving crews found that there was a working basement fire crews then setup RIT in the front yard and staged until released by command 7-4. crews were out for about 1 ½ Hrs. BUS FIRE

As crews were starting to clean up from the ladder training, company 88 was dispatched to the Village of Pineford for a bus fire. Chief 88-1 (Whitebread) and Engine 88 (Lt. Bragunier) with a crew of 6 responded seconds after dispatched. Chief 1 and the Engine arrived to find a privately owned school bus with the brakes on fire. Crews stretched the bumper line and quickly extinguished the fire. Crews then checked inside the bus for any extension. With no extension the crews worked on cooling the brakes down. Crews were out for a ½ Hour. More Pictures




LADDER TRAINING

This evening crews from Station 88 and Station 54 did some work with throwing ladders to a building. Crews practices different techniques and some people received the opportunity to throw some Truck Company ladders. A good job was done by all. More Pictures
