To the family of Jeff Tennis,
We, the officers and members of the MVFD, would like to thank you for keeping us updated on Jeff's condition through this guestbook. As you continue to keep us updated, we continue to keep Jeff, as well as you, his family, in our thoughts and prayers. Please continue to keep us updated as many of us check the guestbook frequently to check for your updates. | Well Jeff is pretty sick right now. He has a couple of infections that are making him sick. These infections are also affecting his eyes. They are sensative to light and he doesn't want to open them. He is being treated with 3 antibiotics, and this should take care of that. The shunt is working, they did a bunch of tests and I believe, will know more today. I have not updated because we really weren't sure what was going on. If you dont' see any updates then there is likley no change. Jeff seems to face on challenge after another. He is responding to commands though so this is a good sign. We can't begin to thank everyone for their concerns and prayers, but ask that you continue to hold him up in prayer. |

| Well today Jeff has not come out of it yet. Doctors say it could take 36 - 48 hours for him to come out. He is giving a thumbs up though, so he hears us. They turned the drain off, since nothing is coming out which is very good. The shunt is working, now we just have to wait for him to wake up. Keep praying, its a long road for him. |

| Well not good news today. Jeff had the shunt put in yesterday and at midnight he was unresponsive. It did not work, so today they put another drain in his head again. Am not sure what the next step is but please keep the prayers for him. Will keep you updated as we know what is going on. Thanks again for all the prayers, please just continue them. |
