This morning Rescue 88 was dispatched to Schoolhouse Rd. in Londonderry Twp. for an accident with entrapment. Rescue 88 (Lt. Eppinger) responded with a crew of 6 shortly after dispatch and was advised that a vehicle was to be down over an embankment with a female driver still to be inside of the vehicle. Rescue 88 arrived on scene to find a two vehicle crash along the side of the road with a female still in the car. Crews quickly hooked the winch up to keep the car from going over the bank and crews just simply shoveled the drivers door out of all the snow to gain access of the driver. Crews secured power to the SUV and helped with patient care and removal of the patient from the car. Crews were cleared a short time after.
